Hallgrímskirkja- The church for all religions. The democratic national ideology set the tone for the whole nation- all lives are equal! Respect is ubiquitous in society, from humans to humans, to more importantly, humans to animals. I enjoyed how laid-back everyone was. In Iceland, time is literally frozen. hustling and bustling lost their meaning in this land of wonders. I was purely in awe to see, to touch, to feel the iceberg of a thousand years old.
